Square Shotz ("the App") is a mobile game developed by Square Shotz LLC, a Texas limited liability company (EIN 42-2378455). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Username: A display name you choose during onboarding. Stored locally on your device and on our servers for multiplayer identification.
Account Information: If you sign in via Sign In with Apple or Google Sign In, we receive your name and email address as provided by those services.
Game Center Identity: For ranked multiplayer, Apple Game Center provides your Game Center alias for matchmaking and leaderboards.

Information Collected Automatically

Game Data: Progress, statistics, inventory, currency balance. Stored locally and synced to our servers when online features are active.
Analytics Data: Anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics. Cannot be used to personally identify you.
Crash Reports: Via Firebase Crashlytics. Device + app state info only — no personal data.
Purchase History: Records of in-app purchases processed by Apple. We see only the product and transaction ID.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Your location, contacts, photos, or camera data
We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not track you across other apps or websites

How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the game experience
To save your game progress across devices
To enable online multiplayer features and ranked matchmaking
To improve app performance and fix bugs
To process in-app purchases
To communicate important account or service updates

Data Storage

Local data is stored on your device. When online features are active, data is stored on Google Firebase servers (US). In-app purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Square Shotz is rated for all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Single-player practice mode requires no account.

Your Rights

Delete local data — uninstall the app
Delete server-side data — email privacy@squareshotzgames.com
Opt out of analytics — in the app settings (when available)
Opt out of personalized ads — iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking

If you are a resident of the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA, including access, correction, portability, and deletion. Contact privacy@squareshotzgames.com to exercise these rights.

Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion request, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., transaction records).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy. Material changes will be posted in the app and noted with an updated "Last updated" date above.
